Itinerary

Day 1 – Kigali to Akagera National Park

Pickup from your hotel or residence in Kigali and depart for Akagera National Park in eastern Rwanda.

After arrival at the park, begin your afternoon game drive, giving you the chance to photograph animals such as giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and buffaloes.

Enjoy sunset photography opportunities across the beautiful savannah landscape before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 – Full Day Wildlife Photography Safari

Start early with a sunrise game drive, the best time to capture predators and active wildlife. Look out for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and many bird species.

After lunch, take a boat safari on Lake Ihema, one of the best places in the park for wildlife photography. You may photograph hippos, crocodiles, and numerous water birds along the lakeshore.

Later in the afternoon, continue with another evening game drive for sunset wildlife photography.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3 – Morning Game Drive & Return to Kigali

Enjoy a final early morning game drive to capture the last wildlife moments and scenic views of the park.

After breakfast, begin the journey back to Kigali with optional stops for photos along the way.
